The absolutely true dairy of a part-time indian is based on the story of Arnold Spirit Jr, called Junior by his friends and family. Living in poverty with his family on the Spokane Indian Reservation. Junior makes sense of his imaginary world and real world when he draws cartoons. He suffers bullying by many kids as well as adults on the reservation. Nevertheless, his best friend Rowdy who is aggresive and athletic. Rowdy always defends him.
